Twisted Twins is a wooden roller coaster at former Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky. It is a double-tracked dueling roller coaster by Custom Coasters International whose two trains are nicknamed Lola and Stella.[1]

The ride was originally named Twisted Sisters from 1998 to 2001 but was changed when members of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister threatened to sue.[2]

Twisted Twins was closed in 2008 and was remained closed in the 2009 season.

In summer 2009, the trains were sent to Six Flags St. Louis, which feared many fans into thinking that the coaster will never reopen.[3]

Six Flags has announced its intentions to permanently close Kentucky Kingdom. Currently Six Flags has turned over all land they owned at the park giving the new operator Edward Hart all the land Twisted Twins was built on. It is currently speculated that it won't open due to the costs to get it repaired and operational. Kentucky Kingdom will not reopen.
